Little Feat’s Paul Barrere Shares New Studio Version Of “Old Folks Boogie” [Listen]

first_imgLittle Feat’s guitarist and songwriter Paul Barrere has released a new studio version of the band’s “Old Folks Boogie”, off of their 1977 Time Loves A Hero studio release.The fifth track on Little Feat’s sixth album explores some of the issues that may overtake us as we grow older. The Barrere-penned tune contains lyrics about pacemakers, wheelchairs, financial troubles, and erectile dysfunction, so rerecording a new version of “Old Folks Boogie” 41 years later brings some light to the original intended comedy.
